Notes on the midterm exam
- The midterm exam will be in our regular classroom during regular class time.
- The midterm will have questions similar to ones you have answered in your homework.
- I have tried to design the exam so that you will not be under time pressure. You are of course free to
take the entire period. I encourage you to review your answers carefully after finishing the exam.
- Bring pencils and an eraser to the exam. You will not need a calculator. I will provide scratch paper if you need it
(or you can use the back of the exam pages).
- The exam is closed-book, but you can bring one page of notes with you. Limitations are that the page is 8.5 by 11 inches (use one side only)
and that all notes must be HANDWRITTEN large enough for you to see unaided.
Absolutely no computer generated or photocopied material of any kind can be included. (If you have a disability that prevents handwriting and is
documented by the Student Disability Resources office, I will be glad
to work out other arrangements.)
You can use both sides of the page. You will need to turn in this notes page with your exam.
